We start by asking you questions about your project. What are your goals? Who is your audience? We ask about colors, branding, message and also what other websites you like. You fill out and submit this questionnaire online. It's not incredibly long. We only ask what we need to get a solid idea of what you want.

Fill out Project Brief

We will email you a link to a flat graphic mockup of what we think your new site should look like. The graphic will be filled with "filler text" so that you can see what your design is going to look like once your actual content is entered into it. You will be able to provide us feedback on the proof.

We'll make any adjustments you need and present you another proof. The proofing phase of design can be equated to the blueprint phase of building a house. Blueprints are very easy to change but once you build the house (e.g. you put a load bearing wall in a certain place) some changes can be much more difficult. We want to make sure we address all of your design concerns during this phase. If you like the second proof, we can move into the build stage or we can do a third proof.

If you provided any feedback, we will give you another proof. If changes are minor and non-frivolous, your project manager will continue to work with you to make adjustments as needed. If you need to dig a little deeper, you can begin to purchase new concepts or revisions at $150.00 per round. Since we already have a creative direction and understanding with you, there's no need to change everything to start from scratch. This small fee lets us continue to generate concepts as long as you need. It is equivalent to the fee for designing sub-page layouts which can be added to your project.

Once you sign off on the design, we will build it out. The build out will be fully functional so that you can view it in your web browser and click around in it. If you purchased a content management system, the design will be placed on top of that.

If you've written content, we can plug that in for you at a very affordable rate. You can also use a content management system (CMS) to fill your site with content. If you purchased a CMS, we will train you how to get into it and enter content. You'll have all the time you need to get it all plugged in and we'll support you through that process.
